    Frequently asked questions

    What are the prerequisites?

Rescue Diver (or equivalent) and recent dive activity are recommended. You should be comfortable in the water and medically fit to dive.

How long does the Divemaster course take?

Duration depends on your availability and progress. Expect a competency-based schedule with pool/shore workshops, assisting sessions, and guided dives.

    What’s included in the price?

Mentorship and leadership training, real assisting & guiding experience, tanks & weights, plus photos & videos. Resort fees, agency materials/fees, and optional rentals are separate.

Will I assist real courses and guide dives?

Yes. You’ll shadow instructors, assist with real students, and practice dive briefings, mapping, and guiding under supervision.

Do I need my own gear?

Pros are expected to have a full personal kit. Tanks & weights are included; other rentals are available if needed.

Where do we stay and how are logistics handled?

You’ll book resort entrance/food/accommodation directly with our partner resort. We can help coordinate transport on request.

Can I work as a Divemaster after this?

Divemaster is your first pro rating. After certification and agency registration, you can guide certified divers and assist instructors within standards.

Do I need current EFR/First Aid and a medical?

Yes—current CPR/First Aid is typically required, and you should be medically fit to dive. If yours has lapsed, we can help you refresh.
